Equipment condition update

This Thursday the playground was assessed by VSB grounds staff after the posts holding one set of monkey bars started shifting from side to side during use. Unfortunately the two main posts supporting this element of the structure have rotted through and it will need to be removed.

Fences and netting were immediately erected around the hanging monkey bars, taking them official out of action for good.

This is a huge blow as the hanging monkey bars were the most dynamic and challenging part of our playground and a favourite with many of our kids. The need for a renewal of our school play space has become all the more pressing this week!
