How much will the playground cost?

The full cost of the playground and landscaping (including the garden and outdoor learning area) will be around $150,000. The school's Parent Advisory Council has already raised $40,000 of this total.

When will the playground be built?

We don't know exactly, but we are aiming to complete fundraising within one year. Ideally the playground will be constructed in mid to late 2019.

Why isn't the government paying for the playground?

A fund for school playgrounds was announced in the February 2018 provincial budget. The grants for 2018 have already been given (one playground grant for each district in BC). We currently don't have any information about priorities for the fund in 2019.
