The Gala report!

A wonderful time was had by all at the 2018 Rotary Charity Gala on 16th November at the Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club - for which Queen Victoria Annex's playground was the main beneficiary.

Our Vice Principal, Joyce Chong, Co-chair of our PAC, Kimiko McDonnell, and two of our Grade 5 students gave wonderful speeches on the evening. Attendees also enjoyed the first public screening of our new playground project video!

The evening featured a wonderful dinner, presentations from Rotary members and charitable groups, fabulous entertainment from local dance groups and a spectacular silent auction. QVA students created some unique art pieces for the event which made almost $300 at auction! Well done kids.
